RARE Bizarre Collectibles from Caledonia Double Mark 1855–56 J MP Bell Glasgow Royal Conservatory Jug J M P Bells Glasgow Ceramics Royal Conservatory Pattern A lovely early Victorian black transfer flower bouquet design Jug is unusual since the base bears two registered markings. The jug has an imprinted date of 1855. For 1856, the printed mark displays L. So, it's possible that the jug was created prior to the design office's approval. In either case, this makes the jug exceptionally uncommon and unique.
